How do I update my email address?
Customer Support is happy to assist you with changing your email address. Before submitting your request, please note that Southern Living is part of the People Inc. family of brands.
Changing the email address associated with your SouthernLiving.com account will also update the email address associated with all People Inc. accounts and newsletters connected to that email address.
To request an email address update, please send an email to customersupport@people.inc from the email address that is currently associated with your account. Customer Support will process your request as quickly as possible and confirm via email.
How do I update my display name?
To update your Display Name, navigate to the Southern Living Account dropdown and select Settings. Select Edit, enter your preferred Display Name, and select Save.
If you prefer, Customer Support would be happy to help. Simply send an email to customersupport@people.inc from the email address that is currently associated with your account and include the display name that you would like to use. Customer Support will review your request and follow up with you via email as soon as possible.
How do I sign up for newsletters?
To sign up for newsletters, select Newsletters from the site header and follow the instructions provided.
How do I unsubscribe from newsletters or emails?
To manage your preferences, simply scroll to the bottom of any newsletter and select "Manage My Subscriptions." From there, you can view and update all your active alerts.
If you choose to unsubscribe entirely, please allow one business day for our systems to fully process your request.
How do I deactivate my account?
Deactivating your account means you will no longer be able to sign in to your SouthernLiving.com account. Please note that this action does not delete your information from our system, nor is it permanent.
You can submit a request to deactivate your account through this form. Customer Support will review your request and follow up with you via email as soon as possible.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your information from our systems or exercise other data and privacy rights, visit our privacy portal via OneTrust to submit your request. For more information, please review our complete People Inc. Privacy Policy.
